Terms of service

These terms apply to the use of Muntelo, a service of Invix Digital (Chamber of Commerce number 92610927, Postekampke 14, 5221 BL Den Bosch, the Netherlands). By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. The service

Muntelo is software for invoicing, payments, expenses, VAT and income tax for businesses in the Netherlands. You use Muntelo for your own business.

2. Your account

• You provide accurate details and keep them up to date.
• You keep your sign-in details secret. What happens under your account is your responsibility.
• You can invite others to your workspace, such as your accountant. You decide who has access.

3. Plans and payment

• The free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. All prices exclude VAT.
• A monthly plan can be cancelled by the month. A yearly plan runs to the end of its term.
• We announce price changes at least 60 days in advance. A running yearly plan keeps its price until renewal.

4. Your data

• Your data stays yours. You can export it for free on every plan.
• We only process your data to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy. For your clients' data we act as a processor; the data processing agreement is part of these terms.

5. The assistant, calculations and tax returns

• Muntelo helps you keep correct records, but you remain responsible for what you send, book and file.
• Amounts in your VAT and income tax returns come from fixed calculation rules. The assistant suggests and explains, but changes nothing without your confirmation.
• A return only goes to the Belastingdienst when you file it, after a summary of what you are filing.
• Muntelo doesn't give personal tax advice. If in doubt, ask an adviser.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep Muntelo available at all times, but can't guarantee uninterrupted operation. We announce planned maintenance in advance.

7. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. We're not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue or fines resulting from returns you filed yourself.

8. Cancellation and termination

You can close your account at any time. After that you can still export your data for 90 days. We may suspend or end your account if you seriously breach these terms.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. We'll tell you about important changes at least 30 days in advance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.
